Whitehead Leadership 社会
The Whitehead Leadership 社会 is an organization established to encourage leadership 和 academic excellence within the University of 雷德兰兹 商学院 & 社会. As facilitators of professional education 和 lifelong learning, individual members of the 社会 have the responsibility to:
- Provide active service 和 support to the University community
- Foster an academic climate for enhancing 商学院 & 社会 student achievement
- Focus on increasing productive student 和 faculty dialogue
- Honor the traditions of the liberal arts
- Formal induction ceremony 和 presentation of a Whitehead Leadership 社会 (WLS) medallion 和 certificate of membership
- Special recognition at commencement for contributions to the University 和 community
- Lifetime membership to the WLS 校友 network
- Invitations to professional 和 social events
- Participating with your WLS peers, 校友, 和 the community in leadership 和 service-oriented events
To be considered for WLS membership, nominees must be a current student with current degree program not signed off at time of nomination 和 induction.
Students may become eligible for WLS nomination by demonstrating leadership skills 和 knowledge through service in the community, 工作场所, 教室, 和 through academic excellence. These students may be nominated by faculty, school administrators, or by self-nomination.
